The name is deliberate: in the Corps, Gunny is the tough, knowledgeable uncle who ensures you don’t starve, you don’t die, and you don’t embarrass the Marine Corps. The handle honors that ethic.
The work here applies the analytic discipline of a career spent under pressure to subjects that reward it: lawfare, legal doctrine, fiscal federalism, and the quality of public argument.
